Party Favors to Support Cancer Research

Help Support Children with Caner by Donating to St. Jude with Party Favors.

We will be participating in a Trike-a-Thon, May 18 - May 25, 2012, along with ICOG's Hope Child Care to raise funds for St. Jude Research Hospital.  Trike-A-Thon is a fun, week-long safety curriculum and fundraising program that supports St. Jude. The program is a great way for daycare centers, preschools and other organizations to teach children valuable riding-toy safety lessons, which they learn from Bikewell Bear® and Pedals the Bunny® through educational materials provided by St. Jude. At the end of the week, children bring their riding toys to school to celebrate the lessons they have learned and their fundraising success for St. Jude.

To help show our support, 5% of all purchases made at 123wrapper.com during our week long fundraising event, will be donated to St. Jude.  In addition to donating a percentage of your purchase to charity, we are offering free standard shipping during this time.  No minimum purchase required.  Simply use coupon code:  STJUDE at checkout to take advantage of our free standard shipping offer and to have 5% of your sale donated.  Just know that when you purchase our personalized party favors and supplies you will be helping fund research for children with cancer.

Wedding Dress Shopping: Buyers Beware

We want to make sure that brides are getting the wedding dress of their dreams, not a cheap imitation. To avoid nuptial nightmares and make the most of your gown-shopping experience, we suggest brushing up on some buying basics. Do: Bargain Hunt Keep an eye out for sample sales. Browse websites for listings and ask salons in your area about getting on their mailing list. Already found the dress of your dreams? Don't rely on a deal on eBay to save you from paying the full price. You must be a wise and flexible shopper to find what you want for a price you like. Changing gown fabrics is a better way to save and the difference can be significant (sometimes $1,000 or more). Don't: Rule Out Online Shopping Online retailers like J.Crew and Ann Taylor make dress shopping a cinch. Gowns fit true to size, you can make quick returns or exchanges, and you can even have dresses delivered in under a week (though we still suggest getting the gown at least three months in adva...

10 Great Birthday Party Places for Kids in the Washington DC Area

So it happens to me every year, actually twice a year since I have two boys.  I wait until the last minute to start planning because I have no idea where to hold their birthday parties.  If you are like me, you prefer to keep people out of the house.  For someone like me it is easier to pay someone to set-up, host, entertain and clean-up.  That way, everyone can pack up and go home without a hassle. While searching online I found a host of unique places that just never come to mind when I'm trying to figure what to do for the kids.  These are in no particular order but I went ahead and compiled a list of my top 10 favorites within the DC, MD and VA (DMV) area.  Feel free to add your own in the comments section below: Backyard Parties:  If you don't want to spend the cash to rent a venue and you have the space in your backyard, I recommend GigMasters .  With GigMasters you can book the services of a clown or magician, rent chairs, tables...
