A Wedding Date of 1-1-11

What about a wedding date of 1-1-11?  I had a girlfriend plan her wedding for that oh so memorable date of 10-10-10 before she even became engaged.  She even had her save the date cards for 10-10-10 already picked out.  Lucky for her, her boyfriend of 6 years picked up on the clues, bought her an engagement ring and she was able to send out those save the date cards and plan her wedding for that beautiful Sunday afternoon in October. So why not 1-1-11?  Most people would not want to share their wedding anniversary with  New Year's Day but plenty of brides are doing it.  It also falls on a Saturday which makes it the perfect day.  Guys, this one will be easy for you to remember.  If you don't want to share your wedding anniversary with New Year's Day you can go for 1/11/11   :-(  This day falls on a Tuesday or you can wait til 11/1/11 another Tuesday or something a little better, 11/11/11.  Either way, 123wrapper.com has the perfect wedding favors and bridal gifts for that

Social Fundraising

Here is a social fundraising idea that was passed on by a co-worker: Toys for Tots Cocktail Hour - Why not host a Toys for Tots Cocktail Happy Hour at your home (it can be longer than an hour).  Get your bar and some drinks together and send an Evite  to everyone asking them to bring an unwrapped toy or a donation for the event.  Serve light hors d'oeuvres and mingle with your family/friends/co-workers.  Not only is it a great fundraiser benefiting needy children in your community, but you will also be supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.  It's the perfect opportunity/excuse to have a cocktail, unwind and socialize.  All toys should be donated to your Local Toys for Tots Campaign Office.  Click Here  to find a location near you.
