A Wedding Date of 1-1-11

What about a wedding date of 1-1-11?  I had a girlfriend plan her wedding for that oh so memorable date of 10-10-10 before she even became engaged.  She even had her save the date cards for 10-10-10 already picked out.  Lucky for her, her boyfriend of 6 years picked up on the clues, bought her an engagement ring and she was able to send out those save the date cards and plan her wedding for that beautiful Sunday afternoon in October.

So why not 1-1-11?  Most people would not want to share their wedding anniversary with  New Year's Day but plenty of brides are doing it.  It also falls on a Saturday which makes it the perfect day.  Guys, this one will be easy for you to remember.  If you don't want to share your wedding anniversary with New Year's Day you can go for 1/11/11   :-(  This day falls on a Tuesday or you can wait til 11/1/11 another Tuesday or something a little better, 11/11/11.  Either way, 123wrapper.com has the perfect wedding favors and bridal gifts for that Winter wedding.  With or without a perfectly numerical date, 123wrapper.com will make your wedding day special.

Wedding Dress Shopping: Buyers Beware

We want to make sure that brides are getting the wedding dress of their dreams, not a cheap imitation. To avoid nuptial nightmares and make the most of your gown-shopping experience, we suggest brushing up on some buying basics. Do: Bargain Hunt Keep an eye out for sample sales. Browse websites for listings and ask salons in your area about getting on their mailing list. Already found the dress of your dreams? Don't rely on a deal on eBay to save you from paying the full price. You must be a wise and flexible shopper to find what you want for a price you like. Changing gown fabrics is a better way to save and the difference can be significant (sometimes $1,000 or more). Don't: Rule Out Online Shopping Online retailers like J.Crew and Ann Taylor make dress shopping a cinch. Gowns fit true to size, you can make quick returns or exchanges, and you can even have dresses delivered in under a week (though we still suggest getting the gown at least three months in adva...

Bride's or Groom's Name First on Party Favors

When you are planning a wedding there is a lot more to worry about than just ordering your supplies and decorations.  Just like every step of the wedding, there are rules of etiquette on wording for the bride and groom's name. So you may be wondering what name format to use on your  party favors , wedding décor, invitations, etc.  Is it the Groom's name or the Bride's name first?  First and foremost, I must mention, it is your wedding and your day, so you can do whatever you want to.  However, tradition or custom states a particular order as to whose name goes first. American custom or tradition states the name of the bride precedes the groom's name on any printed items.  So if you are known as "Brian and Sarah", your napkins in this case will be "Sarah and Brian", with Sarah obviously being the bride.  The same applies if you are using  initials or a monogram . So again, you are S...
